The challenge

Improving community pitches while replacing ageing maintenance equipment

Lowerhouse Cricket Club is more than a cricket venue. Its site also supports wider community sport, creating additional demand on the playing surfaces and the maintenance programme behind them.

The club needed a longer-term solution to improve and protect its grass pitches, while also strengthening the equipment available to maintain the site effectively.

Open Goal Consulting began working with Lowerhouse in February 2024, with funding support identified as the immediate priority.
